
The chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Science discusses the marketing of the university’s outputs with the Baghdad Police Command
The chancellor of Al-Karkh University for Sciences, Prof. Dr. Thamer Abdulameer Hasan, accompanied by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Kazem Hailan Al-Sahlani, visited the Baghdad Police Headquarters, where they were received by Major General Majid Faleh Al-Musawi, Police Commander of the Baghdad Governorate.
During the meeting, they discussed the prospects for cooperation in the Baghdad Police Command in the fields of forensic science and remote sensing, and the possibility of marketing the university’s outputs within the cadres of the Ministry of Interior, where the chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Thamer Abdulameer Hasan, confirmed the keenness of our educational institution to communicate with the supporting security authorities, especially the Baghdad Governorate Police Command, which supported our university in various fields, the most important of which was the provision of fixed and mobile patrols to protect the university building to fortify the place for security.
For his part, the Commander of the Baghdad Police, Maj. Gen. Majid Faleh Al-Moussawi, praised the role of the university and its aspirations in building a scientific edifice in this region, which will witness societal interaction befitting the honorable history of Baghdad and supplying the labor market with promising youth energies, stressing the need for communication and mutual meetings.
