The Chancellor of Al-karkh University of science participated in the first conference of Al-Mustafa University College
The chancellor of Al-karkh university of science Dr. Thamir A. Hassan, at the kind invitation of the Directorate of private Education in ministry of higher education and scientific research , participated in the first conference of Al-Mustafa university college which held in July hall in sheratoon hotel under the slogan " the private education is a scientific edifice to build society . During the conference, the chancellor was awarded due to the accomplishment achieved in Al-karkh University of science to be a unique model among other universities.
Dr. Thamir A. Hassan stressed , in a word on the occasion of awarding him for the scientific accomplishments he achieved in the establishment of Al-karkh university of science , that one of the most important aspirations of our ministry is to elevate the level of higher education and to ensure the quality of the performance of universities through the promotion of education and the international publishing and dealing with the regional and international surrounding to guarantee a positive interaction .
He added that the applied scientific research has its strong effect in solving most of the problems which face the industrial, medical and military sectors. He urged that our university should do the same as solid universities do and take the initiative in developing research, applied and productive plans.
The chancellor also expressed his thank to those who organized the conference wishing them to succeed in their endeavors in applying its recommendations. From his part , the head of private education in ministry of higher education and scientific research , Mr. Ali Rzoqi praised the experience of Al-karkh university of science in the production of knowledge and solid sciences . He assured that the private colleges and institutes have a complementary role in promoting higher education
It stated that the conference was attended by a large number of Iraqi universities' chancellors such as Al-Sadiq University, Ahlulbait University, Imam Alkadhum University and Al-baian University with the attendance of secretary of Arab universities union and a large number of deans of higher and private education colleges.
