The Council of Al-Karkh University of Science Holds its Regular Session

The Council of Al-Karkh University of Science held on Wednesday 21/2/2018 its seventh regular session under the chairmanship of the Chancellor  of the University Dr. Thamir A. Hassan, in the presence of the  Vice-Chancellors of the University for administrative and scientific affairs, the deans of the colleges and a number of heads of scientific and administrative departments.

The meeting discussed the decisions and directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Authority of Opinion regarding the examination committees, emphasizing the points to keep the universities away from the electoral promotion and the necessity of intensifying the courses of the Continuous Education Center to improve the English language and the computer.

The session included a discussion of a number of things regarding the teaching staff, students and the administrative department, discussing the waste percentage report submitted by the University's Studies and Planning Department and the establishment file of the College of Energy and Environmental Sciences.

During the session, the university Chancellor praised the role of educational guidance, which was reflected significantly in the discipline marked on campus. He stressed the need to continue working according to the spirit of the one team to ensure success by opening more colleges to serve the country and the public interest to support the plan of the Ministry of Higher and Scientific Research.
