The University Assistant President for Academic Affairs Tours Academic and Administrative Departments and Directs to Accelerate Progress

Assistant Professor Dr. Ihab Naji Abbas, the University Assistant President for Academic Affairs, conducted his first inspection tour of all university departments, with a particular focus on the academic departments. This tour is part of the university presidency’s commitment to instilling the principles of accuracy and speed in completing tasks, particularly in the academic departments, which constitute the cornerstone of the university’s solidity and academic reputation.

During his meeting with the teaching and administrative staff, the Academic Assistant provided his initial general directives regarding the need for high commitment to assigned tasks and a serious approach to academic work requirements, ensuring quality performance and enhancing the university’s academic and research standing.

He also indicated that this visit paves the way for a series of individual meetings to be held later with each department separately, with the aim of discussing the specific needs and challenges facing the departments and developing appropriate plans to overcome them.

At the conclusion of his tour, the Scientific Assistant emphasized that the next phase will witness intensified efforts to support the educational and research process, in line with the university’s aspirations to achieve academic excellence and serve the community.
