{"id":32998,"date":"2025-05-26T10:11:00","date_gmt":"2025-05-26T10:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kus.edu.iq\/?page_id=32998"},"modified":"2025-05-26T10:11:11","modified_gmt":"2025-05-26T10:11:11","slug":"citizen-affairs-unit","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/kus.edu.iq\/old\/en\/citizen-affairs-unit\/","title":{"rendered":"Citizen Affairs Unit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>An administrative unit affiliated with the University President&#8217;s Office, responsible for citizen affairs, including receiving suggestions, inquiries, and opinions, addressing citizen concerns related to the university, and improving university performance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Citizen Affairs Unit is responsible for communicating between citizens and various university departments, seeking to overcome any difficulties they may encounter while visiting the university to complete their transactions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Receiving citizens, listening to their complaints, and directing them to the appropriate department to contact, or receiving their requests or complaints to express their opinions and prepare a report for presentation to the University President or the relevant department.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Directly supervising the interview committee, which interviews representatives of university departments and units with citizens to resolve their concerns, each according to their problem or request.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Directly supervising and organizing interviews with the University President and the Office Director, as directed.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Entering citizens&#8217; requests into an electronic system designed to expedite responses and search for specific information.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Informing citizens of the action taken regarding their requests or complaints by phone, email, or by contacting the citizen.<br>\u2013 Addressing university offices and institutions regarding citizens&#8217; requests or expressing their opinions.<br>\u2013 Issuing memoranda informing citizens, based on their address.<br>\u2013 Publishing the actions taken regarding citizens&#8217; requests on the university&#8217;s website and the Citizens&#8217; Affairs page.<br>\u2013 Receiving citizens&#8217; requests via the Citizens&#8217; Affairs email and responding to their requests by either referring them to the relevant authority or submitting them to the relevant officials.<br>\u2013 Organizing the movement of visitors to the University President&#8217;s Office.<br>\u2013 Answering visitors&#8217; inquiries regarding the university and directing them to the relevant offices.<br>\u2013 Surveying citizens&#8217; opinions (visitors) and obtaining their suggestions regarding the university&#8217;s work.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Unit Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u2013 Representing the university and the University President regarding citizen affairs.<br>\u2013 Providing the best facilities and services to citizens, as the unit is concerned with citizens&#8217; affairs and their needs.<br>\u2013 Communicating and communicating with state institutions in general.<br>\u2013 Reflecting a civilized state in civilized societies and the state of institutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Application Submission Mechanism:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Write the application clearly, specifically, and understandably, taking care to specify the subject and title of the application.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Write the sender&#8217;s full name, place of work, phone number, and email address so we can respond.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Applications should be sent exclusively to the Citizens Affairs Unit&#8217;s email.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contact should be made through the unit&#8217;s phone numbers at the bottom of the screen, and during official working hours.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Phone Numbers:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WhatsApp<br>Note: Contact should be made exclusively during official working hours.<br>Email:<br>cau3@kus.edu.iq<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An administrative unit affiliated with the University President&#8217;s Office, responsible for citizen affairs, including receiving suggestions, inquiries, and opinions, addressing citizen concerns related to the university, and improving university performance.
