In a visit to Universities of Baghdad’s and Al-Mustansiriya’s Dormitories, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hussain Al-Shahristani stressed on activating universities’ authority in term of addressing issues and obstacles may face students in dormitories.

 His Excellency said that the Ministry is committed to call upon the Ministry of Finance to release students’ grants. He called on taking up with the current critical situation in Iraq in light of the economic consequences and war against Daaish.<\/span><\/div>\n
 His Excellency reviewed students’ demands which included releasing students’ grants, clarifying cultural and social programs which contribute in developing young energies.<\/span><\/div>\n
 It is worth mentioning that the students rejected involving universities in the political conflicts.
