Al-Karkh University of Science participates in a workshop for cell phone towers<\/p>\n

  An academic delegation from Al-Karkh University of Science headed by Prof. Dr. Salam Gomma Bash attended a workshop about cell phone towers which took place at college of Engineering\/Al-Iraqia University, where Dr. Bash delivered a presentation entitled “the role of Scientific Research in dealing with disasters”. He shed the lights on a number of important points like we should not give up on the advantage of technological developments and the changes associated with it, and that trading the rumors without confirmation is a real disaster such as the rumor about the collapse of Al-Mousel  Dam, as well as, the need to involve the academics with specialties with their peers in the State Directorates in order to put the methods of dealing with various problems, and finally, to emphasize the advantage of Ukrainian and Vietnamese experiences in activating the role of universities to overcome crisis.<\/span><\/div>\n

 The seminar witnessed as well the presence of Prof. Dr. Eng. Star Badr Sadkhan, Head of the scientific research foundation IEEE(Electrical engineers and electronics Foundation for young professionals), Iraq’s branch, who delivered a lecture on the scientific methods and how to take advantage of the global enterprise. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Salam Bash granted Prof. Dr. Muhammed Al-Kaabi with shield of Al-Karkh University as an appreciation for embracing the workshop.
