 Department of Quality Assurance at the University concluded the workshop on "the mechanics of the application of quality standards and its impact on the educational process", with the participation of number of professors from the University and professors from other Iraqi Universities.<\/span><\/div>\n
 Dr. Rafa Abbass, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs said "the establishment of such workshops would improve the scientific and administrative aspect of the college and the University", assuring that "the administrative staff seeks to apply the results of these workshops and work according to its recommendations". <\/span><\/div>\n
 On the other hand, Dr. Marwan Abdul Hamid Ashour a professor from University of Baghdad, delivered a lecture the role of self-assessment in the world rankings of Universities, followed by open discussion for the participants on this subject.<\/span><\/div>\n
