  An academic delegation from Al-Karkh University of Science headed by the Chancellor and the president of the Consultative Committee for the Iraqi Forum<\/span> of Inventors, Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Hassan participated in the celebration of Iraqi inventor Day sponsored by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Planning, in the presence of a number of <\/span>Presidents of the Universities and Inventors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  The ceremony started with reading Al-Fatihah on the spirit of Dr. Hazem Al-Daraji, the founder of the Forum and to the spirits of all Iraqi martyrs, then discussing the matters and obstacles that facing the Iraqi inventors and the way<\/span>s<\/span> to solve them <\/span>and how to make the submitted inventions applicable.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  On this occasion, Dr. Thamir delivered a speech where he emphasized on the need for the presence of laws and regulations to support and protect the Iraqi inventor and his inventions and to making serious steps to take advantage of these inventions in a way that will serve the country and its economy. He added that the Iraqi Government should take the responsibility of developing the samples provided by the inventors and how to market the patents and putting them in the frame of implementation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  For his part, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers expressed his delight with such initiatives, assuring that the Iraqi t inventor should take his role in rebuilding Iraq.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  Future more, His Excellency the Minister of Planning, Dr. Salman Al-Jumaili praised on the role of the Forum in serving the country and paying attention to the inventions to keep pace with the technological developments in the world.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
