Shafiq, in the presence of the Chancellor of the University and a number of Professors and the University staff.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,times,serif\"><strong>On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Hassan, the Chancellor delivered a speech, where he expressed his thankfulness to the extraordinary efforts made by Dr. Shafiq and his role during the establishment of the University and the difficult stages that accompanied this establishment. Furthermore, he praised on the role of the employees and their hard working and the efforts the exerted to complete the process of the University establishment and the opening of the College and to work to open other Colleges next year.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,times,serif\"><strong>The ceremony included reading Al-Fatiha for the souls of the Iraqi martyrs and honoring Dr. Shafiq by the Chancellor and his Administrative Assistant.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,times,serif\"><strong>&nbsp;Moreover, the ceremony included honoring the exemplary employees by the Chancellor with the Excellence medal and granting them a letter of appreciation.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px\"><span style=\"font-family:times new roman,times,serif\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/uploads\/2017\/Feb\/2017-02-06 honoring the employess\/2017-2-5 party(1).JPG\" style=\"height:403px;
