Al-Karkh University of Science organized a training course for university employees on the concepts of civil defense, with the participation of university staff and teaching staff.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The course included a practical application to extinguish types of fire, plastic and electrical, caused by fuel combustion.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The course included awareness lectures given by Colonel Abdel Moneim Riad Abdullah, Director of Fire and Safety Department at the Directorate of Civil Defense, and by a number of officers and employees of the Directorate, during which he explained the precautionary measures to prevent fires and fire handling mechanisms.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The course aims at educating the participants about the necessity of following safety procedures, training them to extinguish fires and dealing with accidents.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
