A delegation from Al-Karkh University of Science, headed by the Director of the Legal Affairs Department at the university (Lecturer Haider Madloul Badr) and the teaching staff in the department (M.M. Doaa Anwar Saeed), participated in the workshop organized by the Judicial Planning Department at the Ministry of Justice named (Attestation of Contracts and Pledges). And the relevant guarantees in accordance with Article (9) of the Notary Public Law No. (33) of 1988 as amended), in the presence of the Director General of the Notary Public Department and with the participation of (70) legal employees from various ministries and state departments.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop aims to deepen the knowledge of employees with legal specializations in all ministries and entities not affiliated with a ministry whose work requires authenticating transactions to give them legal status by granting them the authority of a notary public, which falls exclusively within the scope of their work.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop included, among its components, the provisions of Article (9) of the Notary Law No. (33) of 1988, which concerns granting the director of the legal department or whoever he authorizes among the legal employees to ratify pledges, contracts, and guarantees related to the work of the ministry or the entity not affiliated with the ministry, and the procedures for authenticating documents, stating their conditions and validity, and explaining The importance of Article (9) and praise for the project\u2019s position in approving this article.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
