The Department of Auditing and Internal Control, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, within the Continuing Education Program of Al-Kharkh University of Science, organized a scientific symposium entitled \u201cFinancial Analysis and Preparation of Final Accounts\u201d in which Prof. Dr. Salem Mohammed Aboud from the University of Baghdad, Ms. Amira Fawzi Hadi, Director of the Department of Auditing and Internal Control, and M. Eng. Rafa Alaa Abdul Razzaq, lectured, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Remote Sensing, the Dean of the College of Science, and a number of members of the financial departments and units in the presidency and colleges of the university, to enhance and accumulate the expertise of the cadres. The course aimed to highlight the importance of identifying local accounting policies, financial analysis methods, risk assessment, internal control, external auditing, and other topics related to budgets. The seminar included two lectures, the first on financial analysis and the second on the Education Fund and preparing final accounts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop addressed a large number of topics related to budgets, including the structure of accounts and their divisions, preparing the trial balance and financial statement, types of financial reports and the mechanism for reading before the analysis process, in addition to analyzing financial data using horizontal and vertical analysis, post-evaluation, examining financial data, and critical reading.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
