The President of Al-Karkh University of Sciences, Professor Jumaa Salman Jiyad, conducted a field tour of the abandoned and underutilized buildings at the university’s second site in the Abu Ghraib district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit was part of an assessment of the current status of university facilities and an identification of the available capabilities to utilize, rehabilitate, and maintain underutilized buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the tour, the President reviewed the details of the construction status of these buildings, noting the importance of utilizing these spaces in a manner that meets the university’s future needs and requirements and serves the development of the educational process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President also emphasized the need to equip these buildings to provide a modern educational and professional environment that meets the needs of students and faculty within a record period of time. He confirmed that the university administration will develop strategic plans to utilize these buildings effectively, in cooperation with relevant departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth noting that this initiative comes within the framework of improving the university’s infrastructure and providing a distinguished academic environment that supports the aspirations of the university and its teaching and administrative staff towards excellence in various fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
