The University President, Professor Jumaa Salman Jiyad, met in his office with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network, Mr. Thaer Hathit Al-Ghanimi, and a number of members of the Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, the network’s role in supporting development issues and encouraging scientific research that serves the community was discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting also included a discussion of the general media policy of the Iraqi Media Network, its future prospects, and the provision of purposeful scientific programs based on the expertise of academics and researchers specializing in various fields of science. The meeting also focused on published scientific research that can be applied on the ground in cooperation with specialized institutions and companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For his part, Al-Ghanimi explained that the network embraces developmental and scientific programs aimed at building the country and achieving sustainable development. It represents the media of the Iraqi state, with all its components and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The university president, Professor Jumaa Jiyad, expressed his thanks and appreciation for this visit, commending their role in formulating a national media policy that contributes to preserving national unity and rejecting hatred among the various segments of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
