The President of Al-Karkh University of Science, Professor Jumaa Salman Jiyad, met in his office with a delegation from the Independent High Electoral Commission\/Al-Karkh Elections Office to cooperate and strengthen relations between the two sides, serving the country’s democratic process by updating voter information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the framework of achieving sustainable development goals and strengthening cooperation between state institutions, the two parties agreed to open two Independent Electoral Commission offices at the university’s two locations (Haifa Street and Abu Ghraib) to encourage faculty and staff to update the voter registry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting witnessed extensive discussions and a set of proposals and solutions aimed at providing the best services to both institutions in various fields, including spreading awareness and knowledge of rights and duties that contribute to building the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
