The Center for Continuing Education conducted the teaching competency test according to the updated program for university staff, in line with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to evaluate applicants seeking to obtain the teaching competency certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This test is considered one of the essential requirements for practicing the teaching profession in both public and private universities, as well as for those aspiring to earn an academic title among holders of postgraduate degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The applicants were evaluated based on the approved criteria for the teaching competency test, with scores calculated according to several indicators, including the instructor\u2019s ability to effectively deliver academic material, self-confidence, psychological readiness for the test, as well as prior mastery of the lecture content and presenting it in a clear and concise manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has moved toward cooperation with relevant international organizations to update and develop curricula and teaching methodologies in Iraqi universities, in line with the trajectory of global advancements adopted by reputable universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
