Workshop at Al-Karkh University of Science on the Application of the Course Credit System
The Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up at Al-Karkh University of Science organized a workshop on the application of the course credit system in the university colleges. The workshop was in coordination with the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up at the Ministry of Higher Education.
The workshop included lectures given by Dr. Luay Kazim, Vice-Chancellor of the University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Abdul Hussein Sakhi, Adviser in the Minister's Office, and Dr. Zaid Saadi Hassan, Director of the Curriculum Section in the Planning and Follow-up Department.
The aim of the workshop is to introduce the course credit system and the main objectives of its application, such as assisting the student in the integrated development of his/her personality, linking theory, practice, exercise, and integration with the environment and its needs.
The symposium came out with several recommendations and proposals that will be discussed with the concerned authorities for the purpose of applying them and working in accordance with the strategy of ministry to support the student and boost educational process.
