 The head of the studies , planning and follow-up department at Al-Karkh University of Science participated in a workshop to develop and activate the role of the rehabilitation , employment and follow-up center , which was organized by the department of studies , planning and follow- up at ministry of higher education and scientific research in collaboration with the American EREX organization from 14-18 May.

The workshop was inaugurated by Deputy minister of higher education and scientific research for scientific affairs , the general manager of the studies department and Mrs.  Laurie the executive manager of EREX organization .  The workshop included how to qualify students and involve them in labor market  as well as providing them with the integrative skills required in job market according to the recent survey made by EREX organization.

It is stated that ministry of higher education and scientific research  is currently  headed towards opening up to the private sector and overcome difficulties to create a space between the academic and private sector.
