His Excellency the Minister of Education Honors Al-Karkh University of Science for Winning Two Awards in the Iraqi Al-Ain University Academic Researcher Competition

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the President of Al-Karkh University of Science, Professor Jumaa Salman Jiyad, and the university’s Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Abbas Kadhim, a lecturer at the College of Environmental and Energy Sciences, with the fifth edition of the Iraqi Al-Ain University Academic Researcher Competition.

The university president, Professor Jumaa Salman Jiyad, stated that the special celebration held by Al-Ain University of Science confirms the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s commitment to science and scientists, and its appreciation of them in all fields. They are the pillars of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, especially since their published research has received high scores in digital databases. This indicates that scientific research is constantly evolving and that researchers’ capabilities are still abundant, raising the rankings of Iraqi universities to advanced levels compared to international universities.

Professor Jumaa Salman Jiyad also expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, for this gesture and for honoring him with the Scholars’ Shield.
