A symposium at AL-karkh University of Science on the validity of drinking water and methods of purifying it
College of remote sensing and geophysics in AL-karkh University of Science organized a symposium on the validity of drinking water and methods of purifying it with reverse osmosis equipments , with the participation of researchers and specialists .
The symposium included explaining the harmful effects of reverse osmosis equipments on drinking water, food and the human body as it causes great losses of essential elements such as vegetables, meat and grains, in addition of being a dangerous factor for high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, gastric ulcers, , Thyroid and pregnancy complications, and several complications in neonates and infants, including jaundice, anemia, fractures and developmental disorders.
The symposium discussed the direct effects of drinking large amounts of mineral water, which affect negatively on the intestinal epithelial tissue, the insufficient redistribution of water between the body parts, the damage of vital organs function, metabolism, and mineral balance in the human body, as well as of being responsible for the removal of minerals from the human body.
