Al-Karkh University of Science is preparing to form volunteer awareness teams against Virus Corona

The Chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Science, Prof. Dr. Thamir A. A. Hassan, held a meeting with the staff of the university, to discuss the formation of voluntary committees of faculty members, staff, and students to raise awareness against the threat of Corona.

During the meeting, Dr. Thamir directed the formation of mobile volunteer teams and coordination committees to raise awareness of how to prevent infection of Corona virus and the procedures to be followed in the event of symptoms of the disease, under the supervision of the Colleges of Science and Energy and Environmental Science.

He emphasizes the need to focus on areas with a population momentum to minimize panic in society and spread a culture of reassurance among citizens.

He stresses that the university will establish statistics and information center that will take care of each center. The media department will take the responsibility of publishing posters and educational publications, highlighting the work of the teams and directing them regularly in the regions.

This volunteer campaign is a part of the social responsibility of Al-Karkh University of Science towards society.
