
Al-Karkh University of Science organizes a workshop on the economic feasibility study of entrepreneurial projects.
Under the patronage of Prime Minister Eng. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, and in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Youth and the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, and within the framework of the National Youth Development Initiative, with the support of the University President, Professor Jumaa Salman Jiyad.
The State Youth Gathering in Baghdad Governorate held a training workshop entitled “How to Start Your Project” at Al-Karkh University of Science/College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics. Lecturer Haider Karim Rahim lectured. The lecture covered how to prepare an economic feasibility study to ensure the success of any project. The lecturer addressed key topics, including market analysis, cost analysis, and estimating expected returns. He also highlighted the tools used in financial evaluation and potential risks. The workshop is part of the “How to Start a Project” training program, part of the State Youth Gathering’s program to qualify youth, develop human resources, and enhance their capabilities in Iraq. A number of faculty, staff, and students attended the workshop.
The lecture witnessed great interaction from the audience, as the lecturer answered questions and discussed practical applications of feasibility studies. He emphasized the importance of careful planning to ensure the sustainability of projects and achieve their goals.
The Youth Center for Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Program in Iraq is part of the National Youth Development Initiative, which supports young people and develops their capabilities to become future leaders in various fields and sectors.
