The President of Al-Karkh University of Science Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Hassan held a meeting with the members of the financial, scientific and technical committees and the reception committee related to the session of Al-Karkh University of Science at the 12th International Conference on Developments in Electronic Systems Engineering, which will be held from October 7 to 10, 2019 in Kazan , Russia, with the participation of Liverpool John Moores University as co-researchers along with other local, Arab and international universities.

The faculty member and the head of the Geophysics Department at Al-Karkh University of Science Dr. Akil Al-Zubaidi participated in a scientific research at the Second International Conference on Research and Protection of Archaeological Heritage in Iraq (ICRPAHI), which was organized by the University of Kufa and sponsored by the Universities of Pennsylvania, Chicago, Cambridge and Oxford with extensive local and international participation.

A research team from Al-Karkh University of Science participated in the first international scientific conference of the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Misan, which was held under the title “scientific research and modern technology in the face of the challenges of oil extraction.” The conference included a participation of a number of researchers and managers of international oil companies.

Al-Karkh University of Science organized a training course for university employees on the concepts of civil defense, with the participation of university staff and teaching staff.

The President of Al-Karkh University of Science held a meeting with the members of the Scientific Committee of the 12th International Conference on Developments in Electronic Systems Engineering, which is being held by Kazan University with the support of John Morris University, Liverpool, in October 7-10, 2019 and with the participation of Al-Karkh University of Science in a special session and with other local, Arab and international universities.

The College of Science at Al-Karkh University of Science organized a lecture on academic guidance for the academic credit system, with the participation of a number of faculty members and affiliates.

The Department of Microbiology at the College of Science at Al-Karkh University of Science organized a training program for the students of the Department at Al-Ameen Al-Kadhimin Hospital – Laboratory Division.

The College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics held an English language development course for students of the Department of Geophysics to develop English language skills. The course was held in cooperation with the Student Activities Department at the University in conjunction with World English Day, which occurs on the 23rd of April each year.
