The Chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Science Prof. Dr. Thamir A. A. Hassan chaired the Advanced Materials Research and nanotechnology Session within the activities of the TMREES19 conference Held in Athens, Greece, 4-6 April 2019.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Industry, the Humat Tigris Society, the Green Climate Organization of Iraq, the Baghdad Renewable Energy Center, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research-the Center for Renewable and Sustainable Energy Research, Al-Karkh University of Science organized a scientific symposium on the effects of climate change on the sustainability of Iraq’s environment with the participation of a number of faculty members and specialists.

The Students and the staff of Al-Karkh University of Science in cooperation with the Department of Student Activities, the Department of Bureau Affairs, and the Committee of Educational Guidance organized a wide volunteer campaign at the second site of the university in the Amiriya district and under the direction and supervision of the University Chancellor

Renewal of the membership of Dr. Salam Juma al-Maliki, Assistant Professor at Al-Karkh University of Science in the Editorial board of Energy International Journal of Sustainable and Green and American Journal of Environmental Protection
