Chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Science determines the priorities of workflow at the University
Assist. Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Al-Kazimi, Chancellor of Al-Karkh University held a meeting with the staffs of department of Control and Auditing and department of Financial Affairs where He submitted His remarks clarifying that the modus of operandi should be electronic in order to avoid mistakes and omission especially that the University aiming to keep up with technological developments and be away from bureaucracy at work.
Furthermore, Dr. Al-Kazimi stressed the need to writing a report every three months which will be included all the accomplished works and failures that happened during that period of time, in addition to the future plans for the next period and then apply it to the University’s Presidency. Likewise, writing a report about the academic performance of the employees and the possibility of transferring an employee from one department to another depending on their skills and experiences.
Moreover, Dr. Al-Kazimi said that the new employees have to read the law of disciplines of state employees and that there should be a practical exam of this law because it would help improving their legal culture. He also warned of promoting the rumors that would create an atmosphere of confusion at work. Then, he stated that it is necessary that the new employees should be participated in training courses inside and outside the country that would enhance their academic performance and skills. He called as well to establishing a symposium about budget of investment within two weeks.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Al-Kazimi praised on the successful collaboration between department of Control and Auditing and department of Financial Affairs which confirming that Al-Karkh University of Science is moving in the right direction to be a good example of typical University.
