Chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Science discuses the mechanism of implementing employment program and investment opportunities at the University
Chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Science, Assist. Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Al-Kazimi held a meeting with the employees of departments of Engineering Affairs, Control & Auditing and Legal Affairs to discuss many of the University’s important matters, as well as, to review and evaluate the workflow at these departments. Dr. Al-Kazimi emphasized on the necessity of working according to the employment program that covers all student dormitory, conference hall, the University’s administrative, educational, entertaining needs and other University facilities, as well as, determining the default number of the students and teachers, and selecting a system to apply all those activities. In addition to set architectural designs for the buildings that are consistent with right standards of this system both in terms of the nature of the relationship between the data available in the design and the areas that are given to them.
Furthermore, Dr. Al-Kazimi instructed to establish training courses for employees of the departments of engineering and legal affairs that will help them gain the practical experience at work and raise the overall level of their academic performance in those departments.
It was discussed during the meeting as well the possibility of making use of the large areas around the palace as an investment opportunity through relying on the investment standards in accordance to the basis of trade-offs between the proposed opportunities. And after the feasibility study, the most suitable investment opportunity would be chosen. This investment would help the University to achieve its goals and responsibilities towards economic reformation along with the directions and strategies of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
