President of Al-Karkh University of Sciences Discusses Prospects for Cooperation with Community Police

The President of Al-Karkh University of Sciences, Professor Juma Salman Jiyad, discussed with a delegation from the Community Police in the Al-Salihiya sector, headed by Colonel Mohammed Rashid Ibrahim, ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides within the framework of enhancing community security and developing relations between educational institutions and security agencies.

This came during a meeting held at the university headquarters, where the two parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the areas of security awareness, organizing training workshops for students and staff, and implementing awareness programs that promote a culture of security and safety within the university community.

The meeting also addressed ways to coordinate joint efforts to secure university activities and events and promote public safety awareness among students.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the university president expressed the university’s full readiness to cooperate with the Community Police in achieving their shared goals of building a safe and stable society.
