
Al-Karkh University of Science Opens Horizons for Cooperation with the University of Basra
A delegation from Al-Karkh University of Science headed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University for Scientific Affairs Dr. Louai Kazem Abboud and a number of faculty members of the College of Science and Director of the Registration Division. There, they discussed the possibility of opening the horizons for mutual cooperation and exchange of experiences.
The visit included reviewing the registration mechanism, the systems followed, the role of the examination committees for the departments in the distribution of students, the development of courses according to the system of courses, and how to choose them and the number of study units required to move from one level of study to another. The visit also included examination of the mechanism of the total number of units required for graduation. The delegation also examined the nature of the system of registering the students in the first year of the college.
The delegation also visited a number of laboratories and classrooms required to implement the system applied at the University of Basrah related to research laboratories for postgraduate students, as well as the number of students registered for the purpose of opening a course and the number of approved classes.
The two-day visit aimed at reviewing the mechanism of the course system adopted at the University of Basrah.
