Employees of KUS celebrated the Teacher’s Day where they congratulated the Chancellor, Assist. Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Al-Kazimi, for his extraordinary efforts that he put forth in the establishment of the University, and his commitment to raise the banner of Iraq high, as well as, his focus on good citizenship and work’s accuracy.

An academic delegation from KUS headed by director of department of Media and Public Affairs, Assist. Lecturer Ameer B. Al-Safi, attended the meeting that was held by UBC at University of Baghdad.
As directed by Chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Science, Assist. Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Al-Kazimi, a delegation from the University headed to the Holy City of Karbala to visit Dar Al-Warith Publishing. The delegation was received by Mr. Abdulsahib Ibraheem, General Supervisor of the Publishing.

KUS completed an advanced phases in the reconstruction process of the buildings at Hamada Palace, where Director of department of University Services assured that the completion rate has reached its final stages despite the fact that the ratio of the damage reached to 100% and that some of the buildings were not valid for reconstruction that they needed to be demolished and rebuilt again.
Within a series of successes that Al-Karkh University has achieved, the staff of department of Data and information put the finishing touches to the E-Government project of the University
Assist. Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Al-Kazimi, Chancellor of Al-Karkh University held a meeting with the staffs of department of Control and Auditing and department of Financial Affairs where He submitted His remarks clarifying that the modus of operandi should be electronic in order to avoid mistakes and omission especially that the University aiming to keep up with technological developments and be away from bureaucracy at work.
Vice Chancellor for Scientific Affairs at Al-Karkh University of Science, Assist. Prof. Dr. Shafiq Shakir Shafiq, held a meeting with the scientific committee to determine its duties in selecting the scientific curriculums and the specialties that the University needs. Later, the committee met with some of the Holders of the Higher Degrees who wish to transfer their services from their workplaces at other Ministries to Al-Karkh University according to the University’s requirements. The committee agreed to receive them on condition that they should obtain the approval from their workplace.
