On the occasion of the week of combating violence against women .. Al-Karkh University of Science organizes an awareness campaign on violence against women

The Department of Geophysics at the College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics at Al-Karkh University of Science, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, organized an awareness campaign on violence against women, with the participation of students, faculty members and university members.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness among the target group, represented by the youth, and the importance of objective discussion and staying away from psychological complexes and the use of physical violence to express anger in various life matters.

The campaign included an awareness lecture given by the Director of the Department of Geophysics at the College (Assistant Professor Dr. Linaz Anis Fadhel), in which she explained the types of violence against women and the psychological and physical effects resulting from it, as well as treatment methods in addition to the importance and role of women in life and society and dealing with them well in all fields.

It is worth noting that Al-Karkh University of Science is always keen to hold such lectures and seminars on the importance of the role of women in society.
