The Al-Karkh University of Science Council held its Nineteenth Supplementary Session, chaired by the University President, Professor Dr. Jumaa Salman Jiyad, in the presence of the Council members, to discuss a number of academic and administrative matters included on the session’s agenda.

The Council began its proceedings with directives from the University President, in addition to approving the minutes of the previous session. It also discussed the status of entering student data into the approved educational systems, including the Student Information System (SIS), the Smart Education System (Q-Learning), and the Examination Committee System (GB) for the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 academic years, as well as mechanisms for transferring the data to the 2026–2027 academic year.

The Council also discussed the application form for admission to evening studies for the 2026–2027 academic year, in addition to addressing matters and developments raised during the session.

During the session, the University President emphasized the importance of following up on academic and administrative matters and enhancing the organization of data and educational systems in a manner that contributes to improving the University’s institutional performance, as well as ensuring smooth procedures related to students and faculty members.

The session concluded with a discussion of newly raised matters and the adoption of the necessary recommendations and decisions in accordance with the applicable procedures and instructions.
