A ministerial committee visited Al-Karkh University of Science to conduct an on-site inspection of the buildings designated for relocating the College of Administration and Economics from the University’s Second Campus in Abu Ghraib to the University’s First Campus on Haifa Street, and to assess their readiness and suitability to accommodate the College and provide an appropriate university environment for its students and staff.

The committee was received by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ihab Naji Abbas, and the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Zaboun Alawi. They provided an overview of the buildings and facilities designated for the College, as well as the nature of the works and procedures undertaken to prepare them in accordance with the requirements of the educational and administrative processes.

The visit included a field tour of the designated buildings, during which the committee inspected the classrooms, facilities, and available services, in addition to discussing the requirements needed to complete the relocation of the College to its new site.

This visit comes within the framework of the ministerial committees’ follow-up of the condition of university buildings and their preparation in a manner that contributes to improving the educational environment and providing the requirements for academic and administrative work at Al-Karkh University of Science.
